What is the difference between a stepper and a servo Vinyl cutter?
NEW SHIPMENT OF CROC CUT VINYL CUTTERS DUE IN THREE WEEKS
Wow John! I have been thrilled with the quality of the Croc Cutter, perfect with shapes or fonts, and a quiet running machine.
Now matched to our Latex Printer 1370mm, the Print & Cut ARMS barcoding software feature is spot on across the full width of the sheet.
I am very pleased to have chosen Croc-Cut for our fine label work.
We often have to cut large graphics and contour cuts for big installs. Before our Croc-Cut machine we were frustrated with machines tracking off course and making us look bad. Our Croc-Cut machine has performed brilliantly, happily contour cutting over 7 meter prints with perfect accuracy. The barcode system makes it SO much quicker without the hassle of having to manually align the marks. Absolutely brilliant and well worth the investment.
When opening my own design studio, I knew there was one thing missing… A vinyl cutter! After an awful experience trying to purchase from an unreliable seller, I found Croc-Cut right here in Australia and have never looked back. My first purchase could be summed up as professional, prompt, tailored and terrific and within an hour of unboxing my new studio addition, I was cutting a logo sticker on my front glass display. After owning various cutters in the past, I can honestly say that nothing compares to ease of use that the Croc-Cut and software offers. The owner of Croc-Cut John was only a phone call away when I needed to order new blades or had a quick question about a specific feature. Thanks to Croc-Cut, we saved copious amounts on our signage and can now offer these same creative services to own clients! From cutting for boats to boards and interiors, our Croc-Cut “CC” is a proud and valuable resource within the studio.
I approached John Thornhill from CrocCut wanting to find out about vinyl cutter/plotter machines for my small business I run from home. How they work, availability and costs.
John helped by advising the right machine for the majority of jobs I wanted to do. The result was I bought a machine and saved heaps in being able to do my own vinyl work. This meant my costs were reduced as I didn’t have to send away to have my needs met making costs less in the product as well as delivery costs.
I found the machine relatively easy to use and John was on hand to answer any questions, and guide me through how to use the software and cutter.
I am happy with my machine and John’s help and would recommend contacting him if you are looking at purchasing a vinyl cutter.
I had been looking at purchasing a cheap vinyl cutter off eBay when a friend suggested I look at Croc-Cut. A phone call to John later and I had ordered a 720mm stepper Croc-Cut and had it delivered over to NSW in just 4 working days. The build quality is excellent, rivalling much more expensive machines, and I am more than happy with my purchase. While the Stepper is not as quiet as a Servo machine, it’s still not as noisy as many cutters I have seen in the past, and the speed is more than fast enough for both small and large jobs.
So far the SignMaster Software Basic that is included is more than able to do single colour and multicolour cuts for stickers and shirt vinyls, so this is great that I did not need to go and purchase additional software to run the cutter. I had the cutter out of the box, built, software installed and cutting basic shapes and text in under 2 hours, and more complex stickers and shirt vinyls in under a week.
To top the whole experience off, John called me a few weeks after delivery and asked if everything was going well, and that’s something that does not happen very often, and was really appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend John and Croc-Cut vinyl printers to everyone out there who is looking at purchasing a Vinyl cutter, sublimation system supplies and more.
